I hold a law degree from The John Marshall Law School, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Drake University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Iowa State University. Prior to establishing the Maruggi Law Office, LLC, I worked in law, business and sales for over 20 years. Having witnessed corporate downsizings, the dot.com bubble, the stock market collapse, the housing market collapse and the economic recession, I have chosen to open my own firm and leverage my business experience to offer customized, cost-effective legal solutions for my clients.
My practice is focused around resolving financial issues. In my experience, financial issues are the root-cause of many problems, including poor health and marital distress. In addition, I believe that there is a lack of unbiased financial education available to the average person.
Choosing an attorney can be a challenging decision. Many attorneys are qualified, boast of having a lot of degrees and experience and are competent. However, you should expect more from your lawyer. The attorney-client relationship is one that should not be entered into lightly. I take pride in providing excellence legal advice, but don’t see the need to be condescending or “stuffy”. I am honest and willing to roll up my sleeves and work hard for you. Let’s get the problems solved and have some fun doing it.

First, I have two crazy dogs named Middie (which is short for Midnight) and Stone.
Middie: My 10 year old black lab, is from Rochester, Minnesota. In addition to being my loyal companion, he volunteers at the Veteran’s Administration in the animal assisted therapy program, where he’s making a positive impact on the lives of veterans of all ages.
Stone: My 5 year old “Wisconsin Humane Society Special” (a mixed breed coon hound and basset hound) is from Tennessee. He doesn’t provide therapy, although he may need some!!
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dogs, playing chess and attending live music events. I volunteer at the Pro Se Bankruptcy Help Desk in Milwaukee as often as possible.
